I tried quitting milk at the start of this month. I don't really know why I did it. I've heard that getting rid of it settles your stomach, and oddly clears your sinuses after a while. Though my stomach is pretty rocksteady, I find my nose is often runny, so I decided to give milk a break for a month. It feels like I'm a little clearer, however the "Almond Drink" I use for my Honeycombs and Froot Loops just isn't cutting it, so I'm going back to 1%.
I decided to hit the corner store above later in the night. There's something about corner stores that I find very pleasing. It's kind of like after you've established your primary store for long enough, you can talk with the guys inside and have incredibly succinct 2 min conversations that are somewhat meaningful instead of the 20 second sweat-shop banter at grocery stores. It's kind of nice. Some guys and gals that lived upstairs started biffing out boxes while I was inside. I was going to ask if they were moving, but then I saw a biker fly by, which distracted me endlessly. On my walk back I noticed that Sundays now seem to be equal to Fridays as a party night as several house parties were going on on my street and the one parallel. One guy even started singing (I'm assuming at me) "I have a feeling [woo-hoo] that tonight's gonna be a good night", that song by the Black Eyed Peas from his window. Yeah right, buddy. You have a lot of growing up to do.
I ran into this guy just chilling out on a patio on my walk back. One word: Adorable.
